From the author:

“My wife Hanna was born under the bells of this cathedral, in a nearby maternity hospital, and later gave birth to our eldest son Sergey. Today is the day of Kyiv and our northern neighbors from the forest, the Muscovites who call themselves Russians, are congratulating Kyivans on the holiday by sending us missiles and drones that destroy the ancient city and kill its inhabitants. Like in 1169, they want to take over the ancient capital again to plunder, rape and wipe out everything that has beauty and majesty, according to their customs. I believe that it is necessary to paint the cathedrals of Kyiv before the envious hands of the invaders get to them.”
